1. Introduction

Welcome to DoctorReviewsNZ (“DoctorReviewsNZ”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and associated services (collectively, “the Website”). By accessing, browsing, or utilising the Website in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Website.The Website provides a publicly accessible platform enabling users to read and submit reviews, feedback, and experiences concerning registered medical and healthcare professionals in New Zealand (“Content”). The Website is operated as a public service initiative and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or administered on behalf of any medical authority, professional body, or governmental entity.

2. Use of the Website

(a) Access to and use of the Website is provided free of charge to all users.

(b) To submit reviews or any form of commentary, users must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

(c) Users must engage with the Website in a lawful, respectful, and ethical manner at all times. The posting of false, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful or objectionable material is strictly prohibited.

(d) DoctorReviewsNZ reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to remove, edit, restrict access to, or otherwise moderate any Content that breaches these Terms, infringes applicable New Zealand laws, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.

3. User‑Generated Content

(a) Users are solely responsible for any material they post or transmit on the Website, including reviews, ratings, or associated commentary.

(b) By submitting Content, the user grants DoctorReviewsNZ an irrevocable, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, perpetual and worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce, distribute, and otherwise use such Content in connection with the operation and promotion of the Website.

(c) DoctorReviewsNZ does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or reliability of any user‑submitted Content and shall not be held responsible for any reliance placed upon such information.

(d) Users who consider any Content to be false, misleading, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable may submit a written complaint via the contact channels provided. Submission of a complaint does not guarantee removal or alteration of the Content concerned.

4. No Medical or Professional AdviceAll information and Content provided through the Website are supplied for general informational purposes only. Nothing published on the Website constitutes or shall be construed as medical, professional, or other advice. (b) DoctorReviewsNZ further reserves the right to amend, modify, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice. Updates shall take effect upon publication on the Website.

(c) Continued access to or use of the Website following any such amendment constitutes the user’s deemed acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law and JurisdictionThese Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand in respect of any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Website.
