We were referred to orthopedic specialist Matthew Street following complications from a broken leg and subsequent hardware placement. The journey to the out-of-town office required hours of travel time, and due to the nature of the complications, this was quite difficult and taxing. Upon arrival at the office, the staff was nice enough, but the doctor was quite late. The appointment was very rushed and questions were not addressed. He said the previous surgeon didn't do a great job, but it wasn't that bad and rushed us out of the office. This was rather devastating as we had waited months and months for the second opinion at the suggestion of other medical personnel. The next specialist who looked at it immediately referred us to another orthopedic surgeon, whom said "this has to be fixed" and promptly scheduled surgery, removed all the original hardware, refreshed the break and installed all new hardware due to non-union. We absolutely do NOT recommend Matthew Street as he set back recovery by many, many months, left us thinking that there was no hope for recovery, and seemed more concerned about pushing patients through the office as fast as possible.

Good GP. Busy though, so recommend booking months in advance if possible.
